Falling in Love with Morocco – Erin’s Story

Erin had been dreaming about visiting Morocco for some time and wanted a private tour that felt safe for herself and her husband, but still flexible. They stumbled across lots of positive reviews of Epic and decided to book a trip with us.

‘It had always been a dream of mine to travel to Morocco. There was something so appealing about experiencing a culture so different from my own. I was drawn to the food, the architecture, and the desert. The idea of morocco is just so exotic and romantic. The country certainly didn’t disappoint.‘

The most romantic moment and a moment they would never forget was arriving at their camp in the Sahara on camel welcomed by Berber guides, and spending the night enjoy drinks and fantastic traditional foods.

‘It was one of the best nights of our entire lives’

In just four days the couple managed to see and do a lot including stopping at Todra Gorge, Ait-Ben-Haddou, the Atlas Cinema Studios at Ouzazarte finishing the tour in Marrakesh.

The knowledge of the guide epic chose for the trip impressed the couple. ‘He seemed to know everything there was to know about the Moroccan people, their food, the terrain. Both the guide and driver were exceptional.’

It’s a trip that still resonates with Erin and her husband to this day. ‘Staying the night in the desert was a once in a lifetime experience. It is something we look back on with such fond memories.’
