My favourite experience was seeing gorillas in the wild. While trekking in Bwindi National Park in Uganda, the first mountain gorilla we saw was an adolescent swinging from a liana, completely non-plussed about our presence. The hour we spent watching them felt like being in a real-life David Attenborough documentary.
