My first solo trip abroad — just me, my backpack, the freedom to explore, new cultures to dive into, and the way strangers quickly became friends, making anywhere in the world feel like home.

After five days trekking in the jungle with friends, we collapsed into a chair, head to toe in mosquito bites. Zoned out, we scratched in silence… then, in perfect unison as a choir, we all let out a long and deep “Aaaaah”. We laughed so hard… because pure happiness can be this simple!

Travelling is one of the things I love the most, so this one’s tricky. I guess I could say the time I went to Orlando, or Barcelona, or Paris… anywhere I was able to find a big roller-coaster to ride!

My favorite travel memory is connecting with locals and giving their language a try, it made the trip truly unforgettable.

My favourite memory is when I was in Sri Lanka, on a motorcycle, surrounded with mountains and jungle and for a few kilometres there was nothing but greenery and few elephants roaming around in fields. At that moment I felt connected to nature and felt how small we are, and how big of an impact we can leave wherever we set foot at.

I’ve been lucky to have many unforgettable travel moments, but one stands out: drifting down the Mekong River at night, engine humming, insects singing, as searchlights sweep the water and reveal glistening reeds and fleeting shadows.
